AI for operators — not dashboards, decisions
Most B2B AI features are summarization dressed as insight. Generate a paragraph, call it analysis, move on.
Poppy is built around one question: what should the operator do next? Stock below reorder point means propose a PO. Payment overdue means suggest a follow-up. FX rate moved favourably means flag it before the next batch of POs is priced in stale currency.
It runs on a rule engine first (fast, free, explainable). When API-key is configured, it augments with Claude for the questions where context beats rules — 'why was margin down this month?' 'which customer should I watch for churn?'
No prompt injection attacks, no hallucinated data. Poppy only sees what the tenant database already knows.
